MIDOLLINO

COLLECTION 2025

Giuliano Andrea dell'Uva for Francesco De Maio

Midollino is born from a fascinating reinterpretation of woven rattan reed stems – an iconic material of Mediterranean craftsmanship – transformed into ceramic surfaces with contemporary elegance and precision.
Through a delicate interplay of textures, natural hues and interlaced geometries, architect Giuliano Andrea dell’Uva tells a story of skilled hands, timeless summers, breezy interiors and sun-drenched terraces.
The ceramic surfaces evoke the weave of midollino, turning it into decorative patterns with strong visual impact and refined elegance. Each tile is designed to engage with light and space, preserving a strong material and artisanal identity. The warm, sandy tones of Handmade Terracotta, Milky White, Ramina Green, Sun Yellow, Powdery Blue and Absolute Black evoke the palette of Mediterranean architecture, as reimagined by dell’Uva in his projects.
Midollino bridges tradition and innovation, bringing the poetry of manual weaving and the timeless quality of Made in Italy to ceramic surfaces.
